The STEM club has been working hard this term and completing some very exciting Science experiments after school. In addition to this a group of Year 9 pupils who are the STEM Leaders have progressed to the semi-final round of a National competition to design a Handball Stadium for the 2012 Olympics. Representatives from STEMNET visited Appleton Academy on Thursday 4th February to watch a 20 minute presentation from the STEM club on their final designs for their stadium. Their plans are currently on the STEMNET website to be voted on by other competitors from all around the Country and the best five will be chosen for the National Final later in the year. Well done STEM Club!
