The School Day

 

Staff will greet learners and parents on the playground from 8.45am until 8.50 am when the bell is rung and the learners go into class. Registration begins at 8.55am.

 

In the Foundation Unit, registration is staggered from 8.55am until 915am. Learners self register and parents are welcome to join their learners in the unit during this time.

 

Learners attend lower foundation in either the morning or the afternoon with sessions starting at 9am and 12.30pm

Learners who attend school regularly make much better progress in all areas of their academic, social and emotional development. An attendance register is taken at the beginning of each morning and afternoon session, if your child is absent please let the school know before 9.15am.

 

 

Registration is at 8.40am for all learners at the Secondary Site

School finishes at 3.10pm

 

Attendance is monitored monthly and any learner whose absence falls below 95% is monitored carefully.
